The Forest Research Institute (FRI) वन अनुसन्धान संस्थान देहरादून is an institute of
the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and is a premier
institution in the field of forestry research in India. It is located at
Dehradun in Uttarakhand, and is one of the oldest institutions of its kind. In
1991, it was declared a deemed university by the University Grants Commission.

Educational Qualification:
For Lower Division Clerk:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised
board and should have typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English and 30 w.p.m. in
Hindi on computer.
For Technician:
Candidates must have passed 10th/10+2 with ITI in relevant
trade from a recognised board/institute.
Age Limit:
For Lower Division Clerk: Minimum 18 years and
Maximum 27 years
For Technician: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written
Examination and Skill Test.
